    Q4 SMS program ROI

From their breakout year on Kickstarter in 2016, Give'r built an amazing community of fans, but they were ready to take their company growth to the next level in 2021.

The problem?

For email marketing, they were frustrated with MailChimp because of its limitations for campaigns, automation, segmentation, its poor Shopify integration and lack of reporting insights.

It became clear that MailChimp had to go, so Give'r came to Idle Hands Workshop, a Klaviyo Gold Masters Agency Partner, for the expertise they needed to achieve powerful owned marketing growth.

The Challenge

Idle Hands Workshop went all in for Give'r to leverage the power of Klaviyo. The first task was migrating to Klaviyo, kissing MailChimp goodbye and cleaning up a very dirty email list. This not only cut account costs, but immediately improved email engagement and deliverability.

From there, we dug in to improve email campaign strategy, segmentation, and design and began building an advanced, high converting automated flow structure. The revenue impact was immediate, so we pushed even further as we headed into the heart of their fall and winter selling season.

We built one of the best converting Welcome Flows this side of the Mississippi to make the most of strong digital traffic, and launched an SMS program that took off instantly with a monthly "Secret Offer" incentive. The overall Klaviyo program became so successful in Q4 that Give'r did not need to run any holiday sales—gloves and gear were simply flying off the shelves!
